INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER\n(a) Install the booster and a new gasket.\n(b) Install and torque the booster installation nuts.\nTorque: 12 N·m (125 kgf·cm, 9 ft·lbf)\n(c) Insert the clevis pin into the clevis and brake pedal, and install the clip to the clevis pin.\n(d) Install the pedal return spring.\n\n2. ADJUST LENGTH OF BOOSTER PUSH ROD\n(a) Install the gasket on the master cylinder.\n(b) Set the SST on the gasket, and lower the pin until its tip slightly touches the piston.\nSST 09737–00010\n(c) Turn the SST upside down, and set it on the booster.\nSST 09737–00010\n(d) Measure the clearance between the booster push rod and pin head (SST).\nClearance:\n0 mm (0 in.)\n(e) Adjust the booster push rod length until the push rod lightly touches the pin head.\nHINT: When adjusting the push rod, depress the brake pedal enough so that the push rod sticks out.\n\n3. INSTALL PEDAL BRACKET STAY\n(a) Install the pedal bracket stay.\n(b) Install the bolt and nut.\n(c) Install the steering column assembly. (See page SR–21)\n\n4. INSTALL THESE PARTS:\n• Vacuum hose\n• Master cylinder (See page BR–14)\nw/ TRAC:\n• TRAC pump assembly (See page BR–118)\n• TRAC actuator assembly (See page BR–121)\n\n5. FILL BRAKE RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID AND BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM (See page BR–7)\n\n6. w/TRAC:\nBLEED TRAC SYSTEM (See page BR–9)\n\n7. CHECK FOR FLUID LEAKAGE\n\n8. CHECK AND ADJUST BRAKE PEDAL (See page BR –6)\n\n9.
