Turn the ignition switch to ON.\n2.    Check that the CRUISE MAIN indicator light comes on when\nthe cruise control main switch is turned ON, and that the\nindicator light goes off when the main switch is turned OFF.\nHINT: If the indicator check result is not normal, proceed to\ntroubleshooting (See page BE–43 for the combination meter\nsection.)\n\nDIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHECK\n\nHINT: If a malfunction occurs in the vehicle speed sensors or\nactuator, etc. during cruise control driving, the ECU actuates\nAUTO CANCEL of the cruise control and blinks the CRUISE\nMAIN indicator light to inform the driver of a malfunction. At\nthe same time, the malfunction is stored in memory as a diag-\nnostic trouble code.\n\nOUTPUT OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE\nUsing diagnosis check wire:\n1.    Turn the ignition switch ON.\n2.    Using SST, connect terminals Tc and E1 of DLC2.\nSST 09843–18020\n3.    Read the diagnostic trouble code on the CRUISE MAIN\nindicator light.\nHINT: If the diagnostic trouble code is not output, inspect the\ndiagnosis circuit (See page BE–199).\n\nAs an example, the blinking patterns for codes; normal, 11\nand 21 are shown in the illustration.\n4.    Check for the problem using the diagnostic trouble code table\non the next page.\n5.
