                       NG  Check stop light circuit.\n\n2  Input signal check.\n\nBrake pedal is depressed\nON\nOFF\n\nC  (1)  See input signal check on page BE–169.\n    (2)  Check the indicator light when the brake pedal is depressed.\n\nOK  The indicator light goes off when the brake pedal is depressed.\n\nNG                                    OK  Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on matrix chart (See page BE–170).\n\n3  Check voltage between terminal STP+, STP– of ECU connector and body ground.\n\nON\n\nSTP–    STP+\n\nBE3840\nN08782\n\nP  Remove ECU with connectors still connected.\n\nC  (1)  Turn ignition switch ON.\n    (2)  Measure voltage between terminal STP+, STP– of ECU connector and body ground, when the brake pedal is depressed and released.\n\nOK\n           STP+        STP–\nDepressed  10 – 14 V   10 – 14 V\nReleased   10 – 14 V   Below 1 V\n\nNG                                    OK  Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on matrix chart (See page BE–170).\n\n4  Check for open in harness and connectors between terminal STP+ of ECU and stop light switch, terminal STP– of ECU and stop light switch (See page IN–30).\n\nOK                                    NG  Repair or replace harness or connector.\n\nCheck and replace
