INSPECT SWITCH\n(a) Remove the reservoir tank cap and strainer.\n(b) Disconnect the connector.\n(c) Check that there is no continuity between terminals with the switch OFF (float up).\n(d) Use syphon, etc. to take fluid out of the reservoir tank.\n(e) Check that there is continuity between terminals with the switch ON (float down).\n(f) Pour the fluid back in the reservoir tank.\nIf operation is not as specified, replace the switch.\n2. INSPECT WARNING LIGHT\n(a) Disconnect the connector from the brake fluid warning switch.\n(b) Release the parking brake pedal.\n(c) Connect terminals on the wire harness side of the level warning switch connector.\n(d) Start the engine, check that the warning light lights up.\nIf the warning light does not light up, test the bulb or wire harness.\n\nN09955\n\nWarning Light\nIgnition Switch\nBattery\nBE1217\n\nPARKING BRAKE WARNING INSPECTION\n1. INSPECT SWITCH\n(a) Check that there is continuity between terminal and switch body with the switch ON (switch pin released).\n(b) Check that there is no continuity between terminal and switch body with the switch OFF (switch pin pushed in).\nIf operation is not as specified, replace the switch or inspect ground point.\n2. INSPECT WARNING LIGHT\n(a) Disconnect the connector from the parking brake switch and the brake fluid warning switch.\n(b) Ground terminal on the wire harness side connector.\n(c) Start the engine,
