REMOVE THESE PARTS:\n(a) Wiper arm and blade\n(b) Cowl top ventilator louver\n2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR\n(a) Disconnect the connector, then unfasten the 3 bolts.\n(b) Remove the wiper motor with the link.\n\nFRONT WIPER INSTALLATION\n1. INSTALL THESE PARTS:\n(a) Wiper motor with link\n(b) Cowl top ventilator louver\n2. INSTALL WIPER ARM AND BLADE\n(a) Install the wiper arms and operate the wipers once and turn the wiper switch OFF.\n\nPassenger Side\nDriver Side\n(B)\n(A)\nN08467\n\n(b) Adjust the installation positions of the wiper arms to the positions shown in the illustration.\n(A) Approx. 32.4 mm (1.28 in.)\n(B) Approx. 33.7 mm (1.33 in.)\n(c) Torque the nut.\nTorque: 22 N·m (225 kgf·cm, 16 ft·lbf)\n\n(B) (B)\n(C) (C)\n(D)\n(A) (A)\nN08468\n\nFRONT WASHER NOZZLE ADJUSTMENT\n1. INSPECT FRONT WASHER NOZZLE\n(a) While operating the washer, check that both the point where the washer fluid from the upper nozzles hits the windshield, and the up surge area, are within the range indicated by the hatched line.\n(A) Approx. 275 mm (10.8 in.)\n(B) Approx. 150 mm (5.9 in.)\n(C) Approx. 50 mm (2.0 in.)\n(D) Within 100 mm (3.9 in.)\n(b) Ensure that the lower point where the washer fluid hits the windshield is within the range of the wiping pattern (the area of the glass which is wiped by the wiper blades.\n2.
