REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE BEARING\n(a) Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring.\n(b) Remove the release bearing, wave washer and plate washer.\n\nCLUTCH PARTS INSPECTION AND REPAIR\n\n1. INSPECT CLUTCH DISC FOR WEAR OR DAMAGE\nUsing calipers, measure the rivet head depth.\nMinimum rivet depth:\n0.3 mm (0.012 in.)\nIf a problem is found, replace the clutch disc.\n\n2. INSPECT CLUTCH DISC RUNOUT\nUsing a dial indicator, check the disc runout.\nMaximum runout:\n0.8 mm (0.031 in.)\nIf runout is excessive, replace the clutch disc.\n\n3.
