INSPECT DIAPHRAGM SPRING FOR WEAR\nUsing calipers, measure the diaphragm spring for depth and\nwidth of wear.\nMaximum:\nA: Depth 0.6 mm (0.024 in.)\nB: Width 5.0 mm (0.197 in.)\nIf necessary, replace the clutch cover.\n\nCL0289\nZ06001\n\n7. INSPECT RELEASE BEARING\nTurn the bearing by hand while applying force in the axial\ndirection.\nHINT: The bearing is permanently lubricated and requires no\ncleaning or lubrication.\nIf a problem is found, replace the bearing together with the\nhub.\n\nCL0716\n\nCLUTCH UNIT INSTALLATION\n\n1. INSTALL CLUTCH DISC AND CLUTCH COVER ON\nFLYWHEEL\n(a) Insert the SST in the clutch disc, and then set them and the\ncover in position.\nSST 09301–00110\n\nSST\nFront\nQ01136 Q01137\nZ09464\n\n(b) Align the matchmarks on the clutch cover and fly–wheel.\n(c) Tighten the bolts evenly and gradually while pushing SST.\nMake several passes around the cover until it is snug.\n(d) Torque the bolts on the clutch cover in order shown.\nTorque: 19 N·m (195 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf)\nHINT: Temporarily tighten the No.1 and No.2 bolts.\n\nMatchmarks\n3\n7\nSST\n1,4\n8\n6 2,5\nQ01138\n\n2.
