CHECK PEDAL HEIGHT\nPedal height from asphalt sheet:\n146.2–156.2 mm (5.76–6.15 in.)\n\n2. IF NECESSARY, ADJUST PEDAL HEIGHT\nLoosen the lock nut and clutch switch until the height is correct. Tighten the lock nut.\nHINT: Before rotating the clutch switch for pedal height adjustment, disconnect the clutch switch connector.\n\n3. CHECK PEDAL FREEPLAY AND PUSH ROD PLAY\nPush in on the pedal until the beginning of clutch resistance is felt.\nPedal freeplay: 5.0–15.0 mm (0.197–0.591 in.)\nGently push on the pedal until the resistance begins to increase a little.\nPush rod play at pedal top:\n1.0–5.0 mm (0.039–0.197 in.)\n\n4. IF NECESSARY, ADJUST PEDAL FREEPLAY AND PUSH ROD PLAY\n(a) Loosen the lock nut and turn the push rod until the freeplay and push rod play are correct.\n(b) Tighten the lock nut.\n(c) After adjusting the pedal freeplay, check the pedal height.\n\n5. INSPECT FULL PEDAL STROKE\nFull pedal stroke: 132.0–138.0 mm (5.20–5.43 in.)\n\n6.
