INSTALL IDLER PULLEY\n(See step 2 in timing belt installation in Engine Mechanical)\n\n3. 2JZ–GTE:\nINSTALL WATER OUTLET AND NO.1 WATER BYPASS PIPE\n(a) Install 2 new O–rings to the No.1 water bypass pipe.\n(b) Apply soapy water to the O–rings.\n(c) Install the No.1 water pass pipe to the water pump.\n(d) Install a new gasket and the water outlet with the 2 bolts.\nTorque: 21 N·m (210 kgf·cm, 15 ft·lbf)\n(e) Connect the ECT sensor and sender gauge connectors.\n\n4. 2JZ–GE:\nINSTALL WATER BYPASS OUTLET AND NO.1 WATER BYPASS PIPE\n(a) Install 2 new O–rings to the No.1 water bypass pipe.\n(b) Install a new O–ring and the water bypass outlet with the 2 bolts.\nTorque: 8.8 N·m (90 kgf·cm, 78 in.·lbf)\n\n5. 2JZ–GTE:\nCONNECT TURBO WATER HOSES TO WATER OUTLET\n\n6. 2JZ–GE Except California:\nINSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR\n\n7. 2JZ–GTE:\nINSTALL GENERATOR\n(See generator installation in Charging System)\n\n8. INSTALL TIMING BELT\n(See steps 10 to 14 in timing belt installation in Engine Mechanical)\n\n9. INSTALL WATER INLET AND LOWER RADIATOR HOSE ASSEMBLY\n(See thermostat installation)\n\n10.
