REMOVE PCV VALVE\n(a) Disconnect the PCV hose from the PCV valve.\n(b) Remove the PCV valve.\n\nP11797\n\n2. INSTALL CLEAN HOSE TO PCV VALVE\n3. INSPECT PCV VALVE OPERATION\n(a) Blow air into the cylinder head side, and check that air passes through easily.\nCAUTION: Do not suck air through the valve. Petroleum substances inside the valve are harmful.\n\nClean Hose\nCylinder Head Side\nPC0006\n\n(b) Blow air into the intake air connecter side, and check that air passes through with difficulty.\nIf operation is not as specified, replace the PCV valve.\n4. REMOVE CLEAN HOSE FROM PCV VALVE\n5.
