REMOVE EGR VALVE\n(a) Disconnect these hoses from the EGR valve:\n(1) Vacuum hose\n(2) Pressure hose\n\n(b) Remove the 2 nuts, EGR valve and gasket.\n\n4. INSPECT EGR VALVE\nCheck for sticking and heavy carbon deposits.\nIf a problem is found, replace the EGR valve.\n5. REINSTALL EGR VALVE\n(a) Place a new gasket on the intake air connector.\n(b) Install the EGR valve with the 2 nuts.\nTorque: 27 N·m (280 kgf·cm, 20 ft·lbf)\n(c) Reconnect the following hoses to the EGR valve:\n• Vacuum hose\n• Pressure hose\n6. REINSTALL EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR\nTorque: 20 N·m (200 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf)\n7.
