A/T:\nCHECK TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH INSTALLATION\nUsing calipers and straight edge, measure from the installed\nsurface of the torque converter clutch to the front surface of\nthe transmission.\nCorrect distance:\n    Less than 0.1 mm (0.004 in.)\n\nIf the distance is not as specified, check for an improper\ninstallation.\n\n2. 2JZ–GE M/T:\nINSTALL CLUTCH DISC AND COVER\n(a) Insert SST in the clutch disc, and then set them and the cover\nin position.\nSST 09301–00110\n\nFront ←\n\nMatchmarks\n\nSST\n\n(b) Align the matchmarks on the clutch cover and flywheel.\n(c) Tighten the bolts evenly and gradually while pushing SST.\nMake several passes around the cover until it is snug.\nSST 09301–00110\n(d) Torque the bolts on the clutch cover in the order shown.\nTorque: 19 N·m (195 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf)\n\n3. ASSEMBLE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION\n(a) M/T:\nAlign the input spline with the clutch disc and install the trans-\nmission to the engine.\n(b) Align the 2 knock pins on the cylinder block with the pin holes\nof the clutch housing.\n(c) Install the transmission with the 6 bolts.\nTorque:\n    14 mm head\n        39 N·m (400 kgf·cm, 29 ft·lbf)\n    17 mm head\n        72 N·m (730 kgf·cm, 43
