REMOVE CYLINDER HEAD\n(a) Using a 10 mm bi–hexagon wrench, uniformly loosen and\nremove the 14 cylinder head bolts, in several passes, in the\nsequence shown.\nNOTICE: Cylinder head warpage or cracking could result from\nremoving in incorrect order.\n(b) Remove the 14 plate washers.\n\n10 mm\nBi-Hexagon\nWrench\n\n3  7  11  13  10  6  2\n1  5   9  14  12  8  4\n\nP02427\nP02130\nZ02390\n\n(c) Lift the cylinder head from the dowels on the cylinder block.\n(d) Place the head on wooden blocks on a bench.\nIf the cylinder head is difficult to lift off, pry with a screwdriver\nbetween the cylinder head and block projection.\nNOTICE: Be careful not to damage the contact surfaces of the\ncylinder head and cylinder block.\n\nLift\nPry\n\nP02287\n\nCYLINDER HEAD REMOVAL (2JZ–GTE)\n1.
