INSPECT AIR INTAKE CHAMBER\nUsing a precision straight edge and feeler gauge, measure the\nsurfaces contacting the intake manifold for warpage.\nMaximum warpage: 0.15 mm (0.0059 in.)\nIf warpage is greater than maximum, replace the chamber.\n\nA02166\n\n21. INSPECT INTAKE MANIFOLD\nUsing a precision straight edge and feeler gauge, measure the\nsurfaces contacting the cylinder head and air intake chamber\nfor warpage.\nMaximum warpage: 0.15 mm (0.0059 in.)\nIf warpage is greater than maximum, replace the manifold.\n\nP12544\n\n22. INSPECT EXHAUST MANIFOLD\nUsing a precision straight edge and feeler gauge, measure the\nsurfaces contacting the cylinder head for warpage.\nMaximum warpage: 0.80 mm (0.0315 in.)\nIf warpage is greater than maximum, replace the manifold.\n\nP12281\n\n23. INSPECT CYLINDER HEAD BOLTS\nUsing a vernier caliper, measure the thread outside diameter of\nthe bolt.\nStandard outside diameter:\n10.8 - 11.0 mm (0.425 - 0.433 in.)\nMinimum outside diameter: 10.7
