(See step 5)\n(c) Subtract the piston diameter measurement from the cylin-\nder bore diameter measurement.\nStandard oil clearance:\n0.073 - 0.096 mm (0.0029 - 0.0038 in.)\nMaximum oil clearance:\n0.12 mm (0.0047 in.)\nIf the oil clearance is greater than maximum, replace all the 6\npistons. If necessary, replace the cylinder block.\n\n10. INSPECT PISTON RING GROOVE CLEARANCE\nUsing a feeler gauge, measure the clearance between new pis-\nton ring and the wall of the piston ring groove.\nRing groove clearance:\nNo.1 0.040 - 0.080 mm (0.0016 - 0.0031 in.)\nNo.2 0.030 - 0.070 mm (0.0012 - 0.0028 in.)\nIf the clearance is not as specified, replace the piston.\n\nP02086\n\n11. INSPECT PISTON RING END GAP\n(a) Insert the piston ring into the cylinder bore.\n(b) Using a piston, push the piston ring a little beyond the bot-\ntom of the ring travel, 105 mm (4.13 in.) from the
