INSTALL REAR OIL SEAL RETAINER\n(a) Remove any old packing (FIPG) material and be careful not to drop any oil on the contact surfaces of the retainer and cylinder block.\n• Using a razor blade and gasket scraper, remove all the old packing (FIPG) material from the gasket surfaces and sealing groove.\n• Thoroughly clean all components to remove all debris.\n• Using a non-residue solvent, clean both sealing surfaces.\n\nSeal Width\n2 - 3 mm\nSeal\nPacking\n\nP02197\n\n(b) Apply seal packing to the retainer as shown in the illustration.\nSeal packing:\nPart No. 08826-00080 or equivalent\n• Install a nozzle that has been cut to a 2 - 3 mm (0.08 - 0.12 in.) opening.\n• Parts must be assembled within 3 minutes of application. Otherwise the material must be removed and reapplied.\n• Immediately remove nozzle from the tube and reinstall cap.\n\nP02104\n\n(c) Install the retainer with the 6 bolts.\nTorque: 6.0 N·m (60 kgf·cm, 53 in.·lbf)\n16. INSTALL OIL PUMP (See page LU-16 )\n17. INSTALL WATER PUMP (See page CO-11 )\n18. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR\nTorque: 9.0 N·m (90 kgf·cm, 80 in.·lbf)\n\n19. INSTALL RH ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET AND\nINSULATOR ASSEMBLY\nTorque: 59 N·m (590 kgf·cm, 44 ft·lbf)\n20. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT DRAIN PLUG\nTorque: 30 N·m (300 kgf·cm, 22 ft·lbf)\n21. INSTALL UNION FOR OIL COOLER HOSE\n(a) Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the union.\nAdhesive:\nPart No. 08833-00070, THREE BOND 1324,\nor equivalent\n\nAdhesive\n\nP12540
