DISCONNECT A/C COMPRESSOR FROM ENGINE\n(a) Remove the 4 bolts and nut.\n(b) Using a torx socket (E10), remove the stud bolt.\n(c) Disconnect the compressor connector.\n(d) Remove 4 bolts and pull the compressor downward.\n\nOil Pressure\nSwitch\nSST\nP12303\n\n8. REMOVE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH, AND INSTALL OIL\nPRESSURE GAUGE\n(a) Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector.\n(b) Using SST, remove the oil pressure switch.\nSST 09816-30010\n(c) Install an oil pressure gauge.\n\n9. REINSTALL A/C COMPRESSOR\n(a) Temporarily install the A/C compressor with the 4 bolts.\n(b) Connect the compressor connector.\n(c) Install the compressor with the stud bolts, 4 bolts and nut.\nTorque:\nStud bolt: 26 N·m (265 kgf·cm, 19 ft·lbf)\nBolt and nut: 52 N·m (530 kgf·cm, 38 ft·lbf)\n10. REINSTALL DRIVE BELT\nInstall the drive belt by turning the drive belt tensioner clock-\nwise.\n11. WARM UP ENGINE\nAllow the engine to warm up to normal operating temperature.\n\nOil Pressure Gauge\nP12301\n\n12. CHECK OIL PRESSURE\nOil pressure:\nAt idle\n49 kPa (0.5 kgf/cm2, 7.1 psi) or more\nAt 3,000 rpm (2JZ-GE) or 4,000 rpm (2JZ-GTE)\n324 - 579 kPa\n(3.3 - 5.9 kgf/cm2, 47 - 84 psi)\n13. REMOVE DRIVE BELT\n14. DISCONNECT A/C COMPRESSOR FROM ENGINE\n\n1997 SUPRA (RM502U)\n\nAuthor : Date :
