INSPECT IGNITION COILS\n(a) Remove the No.3 timing belt cover.\n(b) Disconnect the ignition coil connectors.\n(c) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the\nterminals.\nPrimary coil resistance:\nCold 0.54 - 0.84 Ω\nHot 0.68 - 0.98 Ω\nIf the resistance is not as specified, replace the ignition coil.\n(d) Reconnect the ignition coil connectors.\n(e) Reinstall the No.3 timing belt cover.\n\nOhmmeter\nP12177\n\n4.
