CONTINUITY CHECK (OPEN CIRCUIT CHECK)\n(1) Disconnect the connectors at both ECU and sensor sides.\n(2) Measure the resistance between the applicable terminals of\nthe connectors.\nResistance: 1 Ω or less\nHINT:\n• Measure the resistance while lightly shaking the wire\nharness vertically and horizontally.\n\n• When tester probes are inserted into a connector, insert\nthe probes from the back. For waterproof connectors in\nwhich the probes cannot be inserted from the back, be\ncareful not to bend the terminals when inserting the\ntester probes.\n\nECU Side\nSensor Side\nIN0380\n\n2. RESISTANCE CHECK (SHORT CIRCUIT CHECK)\n(1) Disconnect the connectors at both ends.\n(2) Measure the resistance between the applicable terminals of\nthe connectors and body ground. Be sure to carry out this\ncheck on the connectors on both ends.\nResistance: 1 MΩ or higher\nHINT: Measure the resistance while lightly shaking the wire\nharness vertically and horizontally.\n\nPull Lightly\nLooseness of Crimping\nIN0381\n\n3.
