REMOVE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH, AND INSTALL OIL\nPRESSURE GAUGE\n(a) Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector.\n(b) Using SST, remove the oil pressure switch.\nSST 09816–30010\n(c) Install an oil pressure gauge.\n8. REINSTALL A/C COMPRESSOR\n(a) Temporarily install the A/C compressor with the 4 bolts.\n(b) Connect the compressor connector.\n(c) Install the compressor with the stud bolt, 4 bolts and nut.\nTorque:\nStud bolt\n26 N·m (265 kgf·cm, 19 ft·lbf)\nBolt and nut\n52 N·m (530 kgf·cm, 38 ft·lbf)\n(d) Install the drive belt.\n9. WARM UP ENGINE\nAllow the engine to warm up to normal operating tempera-\nture.\n\nOil Pressure Gauge\nP12301\n\n10. CHECK OIL PRESSURE\nOil pressure:\nAt idle\n49 kPa (0.5 kgf/cm2, 7.1 psi) or more\nAt 3,000 rpm (2JZ–GE) or 4,000 rpm (2JZ–GTE)\n324–579 kPa\n(3.3–5.9 kgf/cm2, 47–84 psi)\n11. DISCONNECT A/C COMPRESSOR FROM ENGINE\n12. REMOVE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE, AND REINSTALL OIL\nPRESSURE SWITCH\n(a) Remove the oil pressure gauge.\n(b) Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the oil pressure switch.\nAdhesive:\nPart No. 08833–00080, THREE BOND 1344,\nLOCTITE 242 or equivalent\n(c) Using SST, install the oil pressure switch.\nSST 09816–30010\nTorque: 14 N·m (150 kgf·cm, 11 ft·lbf)\n(d) Connect the oil pressure switch connector.\n13. REINSTALL A/C COMPRESSOR\n14. START ENGINE AND CHECK FOR LEAKS\n15. 2JZ–GTE M/T:\nINSTALL DRIVE BELT TENSIONER DAMPER\nTorque: 20 N·m (200 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf)\n16. 2JZ–GTE:\nREINSTALL NO.2 AIR TUBE\n17.
