REMOVE ENGINE WITH TRANSMISSION\n(See components for engine removal and installation)\n\n2. SEPARATE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION\n(See components for engine & transmission separation and assembly)\n\n2JZ-GTE\nP13122\nZI3414\n\n3. INSTALL ENGINE TO ENGINE STAND FOR REMOVAL\n\n4. 2JZ–GTE:\nREMOVE GENERATOR\n\n5. 2JZ–GTE:\nREMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR\n(a) Disconnect the sensor connector from the bracket.\n(b) Disconnect the sensor connector from the wiring connector.\n(c) Disconnect the wire clamp from the cylinder block.\n\n2JZ-GTE\nP11047\n\n(d) Remove the bolt and position sensor.\n\n6. REMOVE TIMING BELT\n(See steps 4 to 8 in timing belt removal in Engine Mechanical)\n\n7. 2JZ–GTE M/T:\nREMOVE DRIVE BELT TENSIONER BRACKET\nRemove the 2 nuts and tensioner bracket.\n\n8. REMOVE IDLER PULLEY\n(See step 15 in timing belt removal in Engine Mechanical)\n\nO-Ring\nP11923\n\n9. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT TIMING PULLEY\n(See step 17 in timing belt removal in Engine Mechanical)\n\n10. REMOVE OIL DIPSTICK AND GUIDE ASSEMBLY\n(a) Remove the bolt.\n(b) Pull out the dipstick guide together with the dipstick.\n(c) Remove the O–ring from the dipstick guide.\n\nP11991\n\n11.
