Replace manual transmission oil\n(a) Remove the filler and drain plugs, and drain the oil.\n(b) Reinstall the drain plug securely.\n(c) Add fresh oil untill it begins to run out of the filler hole.\nTransmission oil:\n2JZ–GE\nOil grade\nAPI GL–5\nViscosity\nSAE 75W–90\nCapacity\n2.6 liters (2.7 US qts, 2.3 Imp. qts)\n2JZ–GTE\nOil\nCastle gear oil V160\nCapacity\n1.8 liters (1.9 US qts, 1.6 Imp. qts)\n\nDrain Plug\nN07375\n\nB. Replace automatic transmission fluid\n(a) Remove the drain plug, and drain the fluid.\n(b) Clean the drain plug.\n(c) Reinstall the drain plug securely.\n\nIdle\nN07380\n\n(d) With the engine OFF, add new fluid through the dip–stick tube.\nTransmission fluid:\n2JZ–GE\nFluid type\nATF DEXRON® II or equivalent\nDrain and refill capacity\n1.6 liters (1.7 US qts, 1.4 Imp. qts)\n2JZ–GTE\nFluid type\nATF type T–II or equivalent\nDrain and refill capacity\n1.9 liters (2.0 US qts, 1.7 Imp. qts)\n(e) Start the engine and shift the selector into all positions from \"P\" through \"L\", and then shift into \"P\" position.\n(f) With the engine idling, check the fluid level.
