CHECK FLUID PRESSURE READING WITH VALVE OPENED\n(a) With the engine idling, open the valve fully.\n(b) Measure the fluid pressure at engine speeds of 1,000 rpm and 3,000 rpm.\n\nFluid pressure kPa (kgf/cm², psi)\nDifference 490 (5, 71) or less\n\nNOTICE: Do not turn the steering wheel.\n\n6. CHECK FLUID PRESSURE READING WITH STEERING WHEEL TURNED TO FULL LOCK\nWith the engine idling and valve fully opened, turn the wheel to full lock.\n\nFluid pressure kPa (kgf/cm², psi)\nMinimum 7,355 (75, 1,067)\n\nNOTICE:\n• Do not maintain lock position for more than 10 seconds.\n• Do not let the fluid temperature become too high.\n\n7. DISCONNECT OIL PRESSURE GAUGE\n(a) Disconnect the pressure gauge.\n(b) Connect the pressure feed tube.\n(See page SR–32)\n\n8. BLEED POWER STEERING SYSTEM\n(See page SR–9)\n\nSTEERING EFFORT MEASUREMENT\n\n1. CENTER STEERING WHEEL\n2.
