REMOVE STEERING WHEEL PAD\n(a) Place the front wheels facing straight ahead.\n(b) Remove the No.2 and No.3 covers.\n(c) Using a torx socket wrench, loosen the 3 torx screws.\nHINT: Loosen the 3 screws until the groove along the screw\ncircumference catches on the screw case.\n\n(d) Pull the pad out from the steering wheel and disconnect the\nairbag connector.\nNOTICE: When removing the pad, take care not to pull the\nairbag wire harness.\nCAUTION:\n• When storing the pad, keep the upper surface of the pad\nfacing upward.\n• Never disassemble the pad.\n\n2. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL\n(a) Disconnect the connector.\n(b) Remove the wheel set nut.\n(c) Place matchmarks on the wheel and main shaft.\n(d) Using SST, remove the wheel.\nSST 09950–50010 (09951–05010, 09952–05010,\n09953–05020, 09954–05020)\n3. REMOVE UPPER AND LOWER COLUMN COVERS\nRemove 5 screws.\n4.
