INSTALL TILT LEVER RIGHT RETAINER\n(a) Torque the nut.\nTorque: 15 N·m (150 kgf·cm, 11 ft·lbf)\n(b) Install a new E–ring.\n14. INSTALL TURN SIGNAL BRACKET\n(a) Apply sealant to 2 or 3 threads of the 2 bolts.\nSealant:\nPart No. 08833–00080, THREE BOND 1344, LOCTITE\n242 or equivalent.\n(b) Torque the 2 bolts.\nTorque: 8.8 N·m (90 kgf·cm, 78 in.·lbf)\n15. INSTALL 3 TENSION SPRINGS\n16. INSTALL COMPRESSION SPRING\n(a) Install the 2 bushings to the spring.\n(b) Apply sealant to 2 or 3 threads of the torx screw.\nSealant:\nPart No. 08833–00080, THREE BOND 1344, LOCTITE\n242 or equivalent.\n(c) Using a torx socket wrench, torque the screw.\nTorque: 6.4 N·m (65 kgf·cm, 56 in.·lbf)\n17. INSTALL COLUMN PROTECTOR AND WIRING HARNESS\nCLAMP\nTighten the 2 screws.\n18. INSTALL COLUMN UPPER BRACKET\nTighten the 2 new tapered–head bolts until the bolt head\nbreaks off.\n19. INSTALL COLUMN LOWER COVER\nTighten the clamp.\n20. INSTALL SHAFT THRUST STOPPER AND SLIDING YOKE\n(a) Align the matchmarks on the yoke and main shaft.\n(b) Torque the bolt.\nTorque: 35 N·m (360 kgf·cm, 26 ft·lbf)\n21. INSTALL INTERMEDIATE SHAFT\nTemporarily tighten the bolt.\n22.
