MEASURE PS VANE PUMP ROTATING TORQUE\n(a) Check that the shaft rotates smoothly without abnormal noise.\n(b) Temporarily install the pulley set nut, and using a torque wrench, check the pump rotating torque.\nRotating torque: 0.2 N·m (2.5 kgf·cm, 22 in.·lbf) or less\n\n3. 2JZ–GE:\nREMOVE OIL RESERVOIR\n(a) Remove the 3 bolts.\n(b) Remove the O–ring from the reservoir.\n\n4. 2JZ–GTE:\nREMOVE SUCTION PORT UNION\n(a) Remove the bolt.\n(b) Remove the O–ring from the union.\n\n5. REMOVE PRESSURE PORT UNION, FLOW CONTROL VALVE AND SPRING\nRemove the O–ring from the union.\n\n6. REMOVE REAR HOUSING\nRemove the 2 bolts.\n\n7. REMOVE CAM RING, ROTOR AND 10 VANE PLATES\nNOTICE: Take care to not drop the vane plates.\n\n8. REMOVE 2 STRAIGHT PINS\n\n9. REMOVE GASKET\n\n10. REMOVE VANE PUMP SHAFT WITH BEARING\n(a) Using snap ring pliers, remove the snap ring from the front housing.\n\nVinyl Tape\n\n(b) Wind vinyl tape on the serrated part of the shaft.\n(c) Using a press, press out the shaft with the bearing.\n\n11.
