INSTALL 10 VANE PLATES\nInstall the plate with the round end facing outward.\n7. INSTALL GASKET\nInstall a new gasket to the front housing.\n\nR00173\n\n8. INSTALL SIDE REAR PLATE\nAlign the holes of the plate and straight pins.\nNOTICE: Make sure you install the plate facing the cor-\nrect direction.\n\nR01174\n\n9. INSTALL WAVE WASHER\nInstall the washer so that its protrusions fit into the slots in the\nside rear plate.\n10. INSTALL REAR HOUSING\n(a) Coat 2 new O–rings with power steering fluid.\n(b) Install the 2 O–ring to the housing.\n(c) Torque the 2 bolts.\nTorque: 17 N·m (170 kgf·cm, 12 ft·lbf)\n11. INSTALL SPRING, FLOW CONTROL VALVE AND\nPRESSURE PORT UNION\n(a) Coat a new O–ring with power steering fluid and install it to\nthe union.\n(b) Torque the union.\nTorque: 83 N·m (850 kgf·cm, 61 ft·lbf)\n12. 2JZ–GTE:\nINSTALL SUCTION PORT UNION\n(a) Install a new O–ring to the union.\n(b) Torque the bolt.\nTorque: 13 N·m (130 kgf·cm, 9 ft·lbf)\n13. 2JZ–GE:\nINSTALL OIL RESERVOIR\n(a) Coat a new O–ring with power steering fluid and install it to\nthe reservoir.\n(b) Torque the 3 bolts.\nTorque:\nFront side bolt: 13 N·m (130 kgf·cm, 9 ft·lbf)\nRear side bolts: 17 N·m (170 kgf·cm, 12 ft·lbf)\n14.
