IF NECESSARY, REPLACE BEARING AND OIL SEAL\n(a) Set SST to the rack housing, as shown.\nSST 09612–30012\n(b) Turn A clockwise and engage the tips of C on the bearing.\n(c) Using a spanner (8 mm), keep A fixed while turning nut B\nclockwise, and remove the bearing.\nNOTICE: Be careful not to damage the rack housing.\n\n(d) Using SST, remove the oil seal from the rack housing.\nSST 09612–30012\nNOTICE: Be careful not to damage the rack housing.\nHINT: When using SST, apply the tips of SST to the cutouts\nin the rack housing.\n\nCutouts\nSST\nOil Seal\n\n(e) Coat a new oil seal lip with power steering fluid.\n(f) Using SST, install the oil seal.\nSST 09620–30010 (09624–30010, 09631–00020)\nNOTICE: Make sure you install the oil seal facing the cor-\nrect direction.\n\nSST\nOil Seal\n\n(g) Using SST and a press, press in a new bearing.\nSST 09620–30010 (09626–30010, 09631–00020)\n\nSST\nBearing\n\n3.
