REMOVE REAR AXLE CARRIER\n(a) Remove the nut.\nTorque: 108 N·m (1,100 kgf·cm, 80 ft·lbf)\n(b) Using SST, disconnect the upper suspension arm from the axle carrier.\nSST 09628–62011\nNOTICE: Be careful not to damage the dust boot.\n(c) Remove the rear axle carrier.\n\n14. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM NO.1\n(a) Remove the nut.\nTorque: 59 N·m (600 kgf·cm, 43 ft·lbf)\n(b) Using SST, disconnect the lower suspension arm No.1 from the axle carrier.\nSST 09610–20012\nNOTICE: Be careful not to damage the dust boot.\nINSTALLATION HINT: Before install the suspension arm No.1, install the axle carrier to the vehicle.\n\nAXLE HUB DISASSEMBLY\n\n1. REMOVE DUST DEFLECTOR\nUsing a screwdriver, remove the dust deflector.\n2. REMOVE AXLE HUB FROM AXLE CARRIER\n(a) Mount the axle carrier in a vise.\nHINT: Use a set of soft jaws in the vise to protect the axle carrier.\nNOTICE: Do not tighten the vise too tight.\n\n(b) Using SST, remove the axle hub.\nSST 09520–00031\n(c) Remove the backing plate.\n\n(d) Using SST, remove the outside inner race from the axle hub.\nSST 09608–12010
