REMOVE BOOTS FROM DRIVE SHAFT\nRemove the inboard joint boot and outboard boot.\n\nSA0726\n\nMatchmarks\n\nSA0721\n\nREAR DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY\n1. ASSEMBLE INBOARD JOINT\nIf the joint has come apart, reassemble it in the following or-\nder.\n(a) Align the matchmarks placed before removal.\n\nNarrow Wide\n\nSA1328\n\nHINT: When the matchmarks have disappeared, do the fol-\nlowing procedure.\n(1) Install the inner race to the cage so that the indented\nbevelled part of the inner race is on the opposite side to\nthe bevelled top of the cage.\n(2) Install the outer race so that the indented side of the out-\ner race is facing the same side as the bevelled surface\nof the cage.\n(3) Match the narrow projections of the inner race with the\nwide projections of the outer race.\n(b) Tilt the cage and inner race to the side and insert the balls one\nby one.\nNOTICE: When the cage and inner race are tilted over,\nsupport the joint with your hand to prevent the balls from\nfalling
