CLEAN THROTTLE BODY\n(a) Using a soft brush and carburetor cleaner, clean the cast\nparts.\n(b) Using compressed air, clean all the passages and apertures.\nNOTICE: To prevent deterioration, do not clean the throttle\nposition sensor, dashpot and throttle opener.\n\n2. INSPECT THROTTLE VALVE\n(a) Disconnect the throttle opener vacuum hose from the throttle\nbody.\n(b) Apply vacuum to the throttle opener.\n(c) Check that there is no clearance between the throttle stop\nscrew and throttle lever when the throttle valve is fully closed.\n(d) Reconnect the throttle opener vacuum hose to the throttle\nbody.\n\nThrottle Stop Screw\nVacuum\nNo\nClearance\nDisconnect\nThrottle Lever\n\nThrottle Position Sensor\n1. INSPECT THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR\n(See on–vehicle inspection)\n\nOhmmeter\nE2\nIDL\nVTA\nVC\n\n2.
