Use SST for inspection or test of the injector or its wiring connector.\nSST 09842-30070\n\nFuel Pump Connector\n\nFUEL SYSTEM\n1. When disconnecting the high pressure fuel line, a large amount of gasoline will spill out, so observe the following procedures:\n(a) Disconnect the fuel pump connector.\n(b) Start the engine. After the engine has stopped on its own, turn off the ignition switch.\n\nPlug\n\n(c) Put a container under the connection.\n(d) Slowly loosen the connection.\n(e) Disconnect the connection.\n(f) Plug the connection with a rubber plug.\n(g) Reconnect the fuel pump connector.\n\nNew Gasket\n\n2. When connecting the flare nut or union bolt on the high pressure pipe union, observe the following procedures:\nUnion Bolt Type:\n(a) Always use a new gasket.\n(b) Tighten the union bolt by hand.\n(c) Tighten the union bolt to the specified torque.\nTorque: 29 N·m (300 kgf·cm, 22 ft·lbf)\n\nFulcrum Length\n30 cm\nSST\n\nFlare Nut Type:\n(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the flare nut, and tighten the flare nut by hand.\n(b) Using SST, tighten the flare nut to specified torque.\nSST 09631-22020\nTorque: 30 N·m (310 kgf·cm, 22 ft·lbf)\nHINT: Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.81
