REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER\n2. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY\n(See throttle body removal)\n3. REMOVE OIL DIPSTICK AND GUIDE FOR A/T\n(a) Remove the bolt.\n(b) Pull out the dipstick guide together with the dipstick.\nINSTALLATION HINT: Apply soapy water to the O–ring, and\npush in the dipstick guide.\n(c) Remove the O–ring from the dipstick guide.\nINSTALLATION HINT: Use a new O–ring.\n4. REMOVE OIL DIPSTICK AND GUIDE FOR ENGINE\n(a) Disconnect the fuel return hose from the clamp of the dipstick\nguide.\n(b) Remove the bolt.\n(c) Pull out the dipstick guide together with the dipstick.\nINSTALLATION HINT: Apply soapy water to the O–ring, and\npush in the dipstick guide.\n(d) Remove the O–ring from the dipstick guide.\nINSTALLATION HINT: Use a new O–ring.\n5. REMOVE AIR INTAKE CHAMBER STAY\nRemove the bolt, nut and chamber stay.\nTorque: 19 N·m (195 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf)\n6. DISCONNECT CONTROL CABLE BRACKET FROM AIR\nINTAKE CHAMBER\nRemove the 2 bolts, and disconnect the cable bracket from\nthe air intake chamber.\nTorque: 19 N·m (195 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf)\n7. DISCONNECT CONNECTORS AND HOSES\n(a) Disconnect these connectors:\n(1) IAC valve connector\n(2) Turbo pressure sensor connector\n(3) VSV connector for fuel pressure control\n(4) VSV connector for EGR\n(b) Remove the bolt, and disconnect the engine wire protector\nfrom the body.\n\nPull\nO–Ring\nP12565\n\nEngine Wire Clamp\nO–Ring\nPull\nFuel\nReturn\nHose\nP11329\n\nCable\nBracket\nChamber\nStay\nP11322\n\n(4)\n(1) (2)
