CHECK FUEL PUMP OPERATION\n(a) Using SST, connect terminals +B and FP of the DLC 1.\nSST 09843–18020\n(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.\nNOTICE: Do not start the engine.\n\nFuel Inlet Hose\nP11496\n\n(c) Check that there is pressure in the fuel inlet hose from the fuel\nfilter.\nHINT: If there is fuel pressure, you will hear the sound of fuel\nflowing.\nIf there is no pressure, check the following parts:\n• Fuses\n• EFI No.2 relay\n• Fuel pump\n• ECM\n• Wiring connections\n(d) Turn the ignition switch OFF\n(e) Remove the SST from the DLC1.\nSST 09843–18020\n2. CHECK FUEL PRESSURE\n(a) Check the battery voltage is above 12 V.\n(b) Disconnect the negative (–) terminal cable from the battery.\n\nFuel Inlet\nHose\nP12558\n\n(c) Remove the union bolt and 2 gaskets, disconnect the fuel\ninlet hose from the fuel filter.\nCAUTION:\n• Put a suitable container or shop towel under the fuel filter.\n• Slowly loosen the union bolt.\n\nFuel Inlet Hose\nSST\nSST\n(Union)\nGasket\nSST\nGasket\nP12823\nZ1300F\n\n(d) Install the fuel inlet hose and SST (pressure gauge) to the\nfuel filter with the 3 gaskets and SST (union bolt).\nSST 09268–45012\nTorque: 29 N·m (300 kgf·cm, 22 ft·lbf)\n(e) Wipe off any splattered gasoline.\n(f) Using SST, connect terminals +B and FP of the DLC 1.\nSST
