It is very dangerous if loose wire harnesses result in the tires coming free due to the shock of the airbag deploying.\nHINT: Place the SST connector and wire harness inside tires. Provide at least 1 m (3 ft) of slack for the wire harness.\n\nR05403\n\nBattery\nFront Passenger\nAirbag Assembly\nSST\n10 m (33 ft) or more\nR05767\n\n5. INSTALL SST\nConnect the SST connector to the front passenger airbag assembly connector.\nSST 09082–00700\nNOTICE: To avoid damaging the SST connector and wire harness, do not lock the secondary lock of the twin lock.\n6. AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT\n(a) Connect the SST red clip to the battery positive (+) terminal and the black clip to the battery negative (–) terminal.\n(b) Confirm that no–one is within 10 m (33 ft) of the tire the front passenger airbag assembly is tied to.\n(c) Press the SST activation switch and deploy the airbag.\nHINT: The airbag deploys simultaneously as the LED of the SST activation switch lights up.\n\nR05062\n\n7. DISPOSAL OF FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY\nCAUTION:\n• The front passenger airbag assembly is very hot when the airbag is deployed, so leave it alone for at least 30 minutes after deployment.\n• Use gloves and safety glasses when handling a front passenger airbag assembly with a deployed airbag.\n• Do not apply water, etc. to a front passenger airbag assembly with a deployed airbag.\n• Always wash your hands with water after completing the operation.\n(a) Remove the front passenger airbag assembly from the tire.\n(b) Place the front passenger airbag assembly in a vinyl bag, tie the end tightly and dispose of it the same way as other general
