REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER AND HEADLIGHT\n2. REMOVE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR\n(a) Disconnect the connector.\n(b) Remove the bolt, the nut and the sensor.\n3. INSTALL FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR\nInstall the sensor with the arrow on the sensor facing toward\nthe front of the vehicle.\nTorque: 29 N·m (300 kgf·cm, 22 ft·lbf)\nNOTICE:\n• Make sure the sensor is installed to the specified torque.\n• If the sensor has been dropped, or there are cracks, dents\nor other defects in the case, brackets or connector,\nreplace the sensor is removed, always replace the set bolt\nand the nut with new ones.\n• The sensor set bolt and the nut have been anti–rust\ntreated. When the sensor is removed, always replace the\nset bolt and the nut with new ones.\n• After installation, shake the sensor to check that there is\nno looseness.\n• The front sensor is equipped with an electrical\nconnection check mechanism. Be sure to lock this\nmechanism securely when connecting the connector. If\nthe connector is not securely locked, a malfunction code\nwill be detected by the diagnosis system.\n• Check that the dimensions of the body where the front\nairbag sensor is installed match those in the body\ndimension drawings in the BODY section. (The SRS may\nmalfunction, or may not work, if the dimensions of the\nsensor mount is not correct.)\n4.
