It causes the SRS to deploy when the SRS deployment conditions are satisfied.\nThe front airbag sensor detects the deceleration force in a frontal collision and is located in the front fender on the left and right sides.\nFor details of the function of each component see FUNCTION OF COMPONENTS on page RS–4.\nDiagnostic trouble code 11 is recorded when ground short is detected in the squib circuit or front airbag sensor circuit.\n\nDTC No.    Diagnosis\n\n11\n• Short circuit in squib wire harness (to ground).\n• Squib malfunction.\n• Short circuit in front airbag sensor + S wire harness (to ground).\n• Front airbag sensor malfunction.\n• Short circuit between + S wire harness and – S wire harness of front airbag sensor.\n• Spiral cable malfunction.\n• Center airbag sensor assembly
