If the malfunctioning part cannot be\ndetected by the simulation method, replace all SRS components including the wire harness.\n\n9  Check front airbag sensor.\n\nP  Disconnect front airbag sensor connector.\n\nC  Measure resistance between each terminal of front\nairbag sensor.\n\nOK\nTerminal          Resistance\n+ S – + A     755 Ω – 885 Ω\n+ S – – S     1 MΩ or Higher\n– S – – A     Less than 1 Ω\n\nNotice\n• Do not press ohmmeter probes too strongly\nagainst terminals of front airbag sensor.\n• Make sure the front airbag sensor connector\nis properly connected.\n\n+A\n+S\n–S\n–A\nAB0034\n\nOK                    NG  Replace front airbag sensor.\n\nRepair or replace harness or connector between center airbag sensor assembly and front airbag\nsensor (See page RS–36).\n\n10  Check spiral cable.\n\nCenter Airbag\nSensor Assembly\nP squib\nSpiral\nCable\nD squib\nD–    D+\nR05899\nAB0070\n\nP  Disconnect connector between center airbag sen-\nsor assembly and spiral cable.\n\nC  Measure resistance between D+, D– on spiral cable\nside of connector between spiral cable and steering\nwheel pad and body ground.\n\nOK  Resistance:  1 MΩ or Higher\n\nOK                    NG  Repair or replace spiral cable.\n\nRepair or replace harness or connector between\ncenter airbag sensor assembly and spiral
