{"model":"mk4","model_name":"MK4 Supra","vehicle":"Toyota Supra A80 (1993–2002, 2JZ-GE / 2JZ-GTE)","document":"Repair Manual","section":"SRS","section_name":"Supplemental Restraint System","page":84,"pages_in_section":102,"title":"Supplemental Restraint System","section_header":"Supplemental Restraint System — Troubleshooting","ocr_text":"RS–84\nSUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM – TROUBLESHOOTING\n\n4  Check SRS warning light circuit.\n\nCenter Airbag Sensor Assembly\nON\nLA\nAB0118\nR05298\n\nP  (1) Disconnect center airbag sensor assembly connector.\n(2) Connect negative (–) terminal cable to battery.\n(3) Turn ignition switch to ACC or ON.\n\nC  Measure voltage LA terminal of harness side connector of center airbag sensor assembly.\n\nOK  Voltage: Battery positive voltage\n\nOK\n\nNG  Repair SRS warning light circuit.\n\n5  Does SRS warning light come on?\n\nP squib\nSpiral\nCable\nD squib\nCenter Airbag\nSensor Assembly\nON\nR05902\nAB0119\nR05893\n\nP  (1) Disconnect negative (–) terminal cable from the battery.\n(2) Connect center airbag sensor assembly connector.\n(3) Connect negative (–) terminal cable to battery, and wait at least 2 seconds.\n(4) Turn ignition switch to ACC or ON\n\nC  Check operation of SRS warning light.\n\nOK  SRS warning light comes on.\n\nYES\n\nNO  Check terminal LA of center airbag sensor assembly and electrical connection check mechanism. If normal, replace center airbag sensor assembly.\n\nFrom the results of the above inspection, the malfunctioning part can now be considered normal. To make sure of this, use the simulation method to check.\n\n6  Is new ECU–B fuse burnt out again?\n\nYES\n\nNO  Using simulation method, reproduce malfunction symptoms (See page RS–48).\n\nCheck harness between ECU–B fuse and SRS warning
