Remove the gasket.\nINSTALLATION HINT:\n• Use a new gasket.\n• Align the oil holes of the gasket and turbocharger\nhousing.\nTorque: 21 N·m (210 kgf·cm, 15 ft·lbf)\n(c) Disconnect the turbo oil hose from the turbo oil outlet on the\nNo.1 oil pan, and remove the turbo oil pipe.\n\n29. REMOVE TURBOCHARGERS AND TURBINE OUTLET\nELBOW ASSEMBLY\n(a) Disconnect these hoses:\n(1) Heater hose (from No.3 water bypass pipe) from No.2\nwater bypass pipe\n(2) Water bypass hose (from No.2 turbo water pipe) from\nNo.2 water bypass pipe\n\n(1)\n(2)\nP11424\n\n(b) Remove the 8 nuts holding the turbochargers to the exhaust\nmanifold.\nINSTALLATION HINT:\n• Use 8 new nuts.\n• Uniformly tighten the nuts in several passes.\nTorque: 54 N·m (550 kgf·cm, 40 ft·lbf)\n(c) Remove the 2 turbochargers and turbine outlet elbow\nassembly.\n(d) Remove the 2 gaskets.\nINSTALLATION HINT: Use 2 new gaskets.\n\nP11399\n\n30. REMOVE NO.1 VACUUM PIPE FROM NO.2\nTURBOCHARGER\nDisconnect the 2 air hoses from the actuator for the exhaust\nbypass valve, and remove the vacuum pipe.\n\nAir\nHose\nP11398\n\n31.
