all accessories.\n     (4)  Switch OFF air conditioning.\n     (5)  Connect tachometer test probe to terminal IG⊖\n          of data link connector 1.\n\nC    Check idle speed.\n\nOK   Idle speed:  700 ± 50 rpm\n\nCaution\n•  NEVER allow tachometer test probe to touch\n   ground as it could result in damage to igniter\n   and/or ignition coil.\n•  As some tachometers are not compatible with\n   this ignition system, we recommend that you\n   confirm compatibility of your unit become use.\n\nOK                    NG    Proceed to matrix chart of problem symptoms\n                            on page EG–408.\n\n6    Check ignition timing.\n\nSST\nTE1\nE1\nDLC1\nP11288\nPO2530\n\nP    (1)  Shift transmission into \"N\" position.\n     (2)  Warm up engine to normal operating tempera–\n          ture.\n     (3)  Keep the engine speed at idle.\n     (4)  Using SST, connect terminals TE1 and E1 of data\n          link connector 1.\n          SST 09843–18020\n     (5)  Connect a timing light probe to No.1 high–ten–\n          sion cord.\n\nC    Check ignitiion timing.\n\nOK   Ignition timing:  10 ± 2° BTDC @ idle\n\nOK                    NG    Proceed to page EG–18 and continue to
