Don't crank the engine\nfor more than 1 — 2 seconds at a time.\n\nOK                                    NG  Go to step 4 .\n\n2  Check for open and short in harness and connector in IGF signal circuit\nbetween engine control module and igniter (see page IN–30).\n\nOK                                    NG  Repair or replace harness or connector.\n\n3  Disconnect igniter connector and check voltage between terminal IGF\nof engine control module connector and body ground.\n\nON\nSST\nECM\n\nB 58\nIGF\nBE8653 FI5821\n\nP  (1) Disconnect igniter connector.\n(2) Connect SST (check harness \"A\").\nSee page EG–404)\nSST 09990–01000\n(3) Turn ignition switch ON.\n\nC  Measure voltage between terminal IGF of engine\ncontrol module connector and body ground.\n\nOK  Voltage: 4.5 ~ 5.5 V\n\nNG                                    OK  Replace igniter.\n\nCheck and replace engine control
