REMOVE HEAT INSULATOR\nRemove the 4 nuts and heat insulator.\nTorque: 5.4 N·m (55 ft·lbf, 48 in.·lbf)\n7. REMOVE CROSSMEMBER BRACE\nNormal Roof:\nRemove the 4 bolts and center floor crossmember brace.\nSport Roof:\nRemove the 6 bolts and center floor crossmember brace.\nTorque: 13 N·m (130 kgf·cm, 9 ft·lbf)\n8. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT\n(See page PR–7, 13)\n\n9. REMOVE TRANSMISSION SHIFT LEVER\n(a) Remove the bolt and nut.\n(b) Remove the transmission shift lever, inside of vehicle.\nTorque: 19 N·m (195 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf)\n\n10. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER AND GROUND CABLE\n(a) Remove the bolt, clamp and ground cable.\nTorque: 72 N·m (730 kgf·cm, 53 ft·lbf)\n(b) Remove the 2 bolts and clutch release cylinder.\nTorque: 12 N·m (120 kgf·cm, 9 ft·lbf)\n11. DISCONNECT STARTER WIRE\n(a) Remove the nut and disconnect the starter wire.\n(b) Disconnect the starter wire connector.\n\n12. DISCONNECT VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR\n13. DISCONNECT BACK–UP LIGHT SWITCH CONNECTOR\n14.
