Check that the ring locks.\nIf the braking effect is insufficient, apply a small amount of\nfine lapping compound between the synchronizer ring and\ngear cone.\nLightly rub the synchronizer ring and gear cone together.\nNOTICE: Ensure the fine lapping compound is complete-\nly washed off after rubbing.\n(c)  Check again the braking effect of the synchronizer ring.
