INSPECTION OF REAR WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH
INSPECT SWITCH CONTINUITY
Inspect the continuity between the terminals for each switch position shown in the table below.

If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
Rear Wiper Relay
INSPECTION OF REAR WIPER RELAY
INSPECT RELAY OPERATION
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1. Connect the negative (—) lead to terminal 4.
(a) With connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2, check that there is no continuity between terminals 1 and 3.
(b) With disconnect terminal 2, check that there is no continuity between terminals 1 and 3 for 9 — 15 seconds.
If operation is not as specified, replace the relay.
Rear Wiper Motor
INSPECTION OF REAR WIPER MOTOR
1. INSPECT THAT MOTOR OPERATES
(a) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1. Connect the negative (—) lead to the motor body.
(b) Check that the motor operates.
