INSPECTION OF ISC VALVE 1. CHECK RESISTANCE OF ISC VALVE Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals B₁ — S₁ or S₃ and B₂ — S₂ or S₄. Resistance: B₁ — S₁ or S₃ 10 — 30 Ω B₂ — S₂ or S₄ 10 — 30 Ω 2. INSPECT OPERATION OF ISC VALVE (a) Apply battery voltage to terminals B₁ and B₂ and while repeatedly grounding S₃ — S₂ — S₃ — S₄ — S₁ in sequence, check that the valve moves toward the closed position. (b) Apply battery voltage to terminals B₁ and B₂ and while repeatedly grounding S₄ — S₁ — S₂ — S₁ — S₄ in sequence, check that the valve moves toward the open position. INSTALLATION OF ISC VALVE 1. INSTALL ISC VALVE BODY AND TWO BOLTS 2. CONNECT FOLLOWING HOSES TO ISC VALVE BODY: (a) Two air hoses (b) Two water by-pass hoses 3. CONNECT TWO ISC VALVE CONNECTORS 4. FILL WITH COOLANT
