A Inspection of power source circuit. Turn ignition switch on. Is ECU-IG fuse normal? Is operation normal? No → Replace fuse. → No → • Short circuit in wire harness between ECU-IG fuse and terminal 2 of main relay. • Inspect main relay. (See page BE-81, 82) Yes ↓ Yes ↓ Fuse faulty. MAIN RELAY INSPECT GROUND CONNECTION Is there continuity between terminal 3 and body ground, and between terminal 1 and body ground? No → • Open circuit in wire harness between terminal 3 or 1 of main relay and body ground. • Body ground faulty. Yes ↓ INSPECT POWER SOURCE Is there battery voltage between terminal 2 and body ground? No → Open circuit in wire harness between ECU-IG fuse and terminal 2 of main relay. Yes ↓ INSPECT RELAY OPERATION Is there battery voltage between terminal 6 and body ground with terminal 4 grounded? No → Inspect main relay. (See page BE-81, 82) Yes ↓ Is there battery voltage between terminal 6 and body ground? Yes → Inspect main relay. (See page BE-81, 82) No ↓ MAIN SWITCH INSPECT GROUND CONNECTION Is there continuity between terminal *3 or **2 and body ground? No → • Open circuit in wire harness between terminal *3 or **2 of main switch and body ground. • Body ground faulty. *: U.S.A.
