Troubleshooting No. 1: Initial check
Does TEMS indicator light S, M and F in combination meter light up for 2 seconds, when ignition switch turned on?
No → Is there 12 V between TEMS computer terminals +B and GND with ignition switch turned on?
Yes ↓ Yes ↓ No ↓
Faulty:
• Fuse, Fusible link
• Battery wire harness
• Ignition switch
• Computer earth
Faulty indicator bulb, circuit or
TEMS computer
Place mode select switch at Normal
position, does TEMS indicator light M and No → Faulty mode select switch, circuit
F go out and S light? or TEMS computer
Yes ↓
Does TEMS indicator light S go M light No → Faulty mode select switch, circuit
when place mode select switch at Sport? or TEMS computer
Yes ↓
Is there operation noise from each actuator No → With actuator disconnected, is there
when mode select switch switched from instant voltage (above 8 V) to connector
Sport → Normal → Sport? terminals (wire harness side) 1 and 2 when
the mode select switch operated?
Yes ↓
