Won't Go Into Gears After Transmission Rebuild - Leaking Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement

TransmissionintermediateOP Confirmed
Problem

After a transmission rebuild with an upgraded pressure plate (2800lb Action Clutch), lightweight flywheel, and new stock clutch disc, the car would not go into any gears. The transmission worked fine on the bench before installation. The clutch slave cylinder was moving the fork but not enough to fully disengage the pressure plate.

Root Cause

The clutch master cylinder was failing internally and leaking fluid past its seals into the cabin. With the upgraded 2800lb pressure plate requiring more hydraulic force to disengage, the worn master cylinder could not generate sufficient pressure to fully release the clutch, preventing gear engagement.
