No Start / No Fuel to Injectors - Hidden Kill Switch Behind Radio

ElectricalbeginnerOP Confirmed
Problem

7MGE would not start. Car had spark and fuel pressure in the rail, injectors tested good with 12V present at the connectors, but fuel was not being delivered to the cylinders. Car would briefly fire on starter fluid but immediately die. A secondary issue of no spark (code 14) was also present due to a broken distributor gear tooth.

Root Cause

The previous owner had installed a hidden kill switch wired through the radio circuit. Two disconnected wires were dangling behind the radio, interrupting the ECU signal to the fuel injectors. This prevented the injectors from firing despite having 12V power and a full fuel rail.
